About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Our foodbank started just before Christmas 2018 and is a project founded by and based at New Life Community Church in Loughborough. We have a real heart to meet the needs of our community. We set up the Foodbank because as Christians we felt strongly that it was important to show that we really do care about people.
When people come into our Foodbank, we aim to make them feel like a person and not a number, loved but not judged! That’s why we’ve tried to create a relaxed atmosphere where people can come and receive a warm welcome over a nice cup of coffee and biscuits and a listening ear if clients want.
